SLTGA Trail Information

Trail Grooming Equipment

The first Trail Groomer for SLTGA was purchased through MacLeods Farm Machinery and Polaris in December 1993. It was a Gilbert 700 series model with an 8 foot drag and approximate 55 h.p.

The second Trail Groomer for SLTGA (first one was used as a trade) was purchased in January 1995 and it was a Gilbert 862 Surfacer with 85 h.p.
The third trail groomer was a 2000 model Gilbert with an 8 foot drag and approximate 95 h.p.

The fourth groomer was a 2004 Gilbert Groomer 6420 John Deere tractor, 100 hp and a 10.5 foot wide Mogul Master Drag.

The fifth and present groomer a John Deere 6430 with Soucy Tracks and a Mogul Master Drag the SLTGA took delivery first week of January 2009.
